| The warm weather is now taking its toll on the snow conditions. Training was very difficult today and so, whilst I was supposed to have a day off tomorrow when I was hoping to see my Mum and Dad, it looks like we will be training in order to recover lost ground from today. Where I am staying is about 2 hours' taxi, train, bus and cable car ride away from Sochi so I haven't seen may parents yet! On a positive note, however, I do think my Slalom is coming on well. I did manage to watch some of the women's Super Combined today and was really excited for Julia Mancuso who won the Super G part of the competition and won a bronze medal overall.
