Welcome to my website!

I'm Florence (Flo) Bell, I was born in March 1996 and I am an Olympian - an Alpine ski racer, representing Ireland.  In January 2012, I was the only athlete to represent Ireland at the inaugural World Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck (www.innsbruck2012.com) where my slalom result was (and still is) the best Alpine skiing result for Ireland at any Olympic Games. I was very honoured to have been selected and I had a wonderful experience.

In 2013 I won the "Overall" title at the British Schoolgirls' races and our school (King Edward VI) retained the GS title as well as winning the "Overall School" trophy and the "Overall Team" trophy. I also represented Ireland once again, in Alpine skiing, at the European Youth Olympics in Romania in February 2013 (www.eyowf2013.ro).  I finished off the 2013 season in Japan, where I scored a personal best of 62 points in both Slalom and GS.

Top of my career achievements, was being the only female chosen to compete for Ireland at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia in February 2014 (www.olympic.org/sochi-2014-winter-olympics).  It was an amazing, life-changing experience.

In February 2015 I was excited to compete for Ireland at the World Alpine Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado.
