We have been training every single day but, because our accommodation is centrally located in Lionshead and the public transportation system is so good, we are able to get out and about in Vail and Beaver Creek and have a look around. The two villages are purpose-built but, as you would probably expect with the USA they are almost Disneyland-like and very attractive.  Lionshead There are lots of tents/marquees and huge screens all around as well as shops and stalls selling World Championship official merchandise - I haven't sucombed to the temptation yet but its only a matter of time!
