World Alpine Ski Championships Day 15 - 2015
February 15th 2015
Today was the final day of the Championships and the day of the men's Slalom race.

Pat, Victoria and I went to Beaver Creek with Conor's Dad, John to watch Conor race.  We met up with my parents who are staying in Beaver Creek.  The snow fell heavily and the course was extremely difficult causing more than 30% of the field to DNF the first run.  Conor managed to complete the course and we all cheered him on to finish the second run too!  The race result was very surprising; Jean-Baptiste Grange of France ended up winning when Marcel Hirscher failed to finish the second run.

WIth Tory and Pat.

We watched the 2nd run in the huge spectator marquee in Beaver Creek because, by this time, the snow was coming down very heavily - the atmosphere was great.

The flag-covered ceiling of the spectator marquee.

We made some smores at my parents' hotel (again!) before heading-off to start packing!
