Villars has had so much snow this season that we were able to ski back to the village which is not normally the case. The down side to this was that the continuing bad (or good!) weather meant that training and the races themselves were disrupted. Instead of 2 x GS races and 1 x SL race over the course of 3 days, we had 1 x GS and 2 x SL (the latter being held on the same day). The races themselves were nothing to write home about except for the fact that I got my first bib number 1!  |
