At this evening's Sports Awards Evening at school, I had to give a speech and a presentation about my Olympic experience. I was really nervous before I had to go on stage but I think it went well (everyone said so, anyway) and it wasn't as bad as I had feared. I was awarded the school's "Outstanding Achievement" trophy for the second year runing and I was embarrassed and proud, at the same time, when I had a standing ovation from all the staff, pupils and parents at the event.
