The King Edward VI Handsworth School sports awards evening took place on July 1st; attended by all the girls nominated for prizes, and their families. My sister and I were both nominated; me for the Outstanding Achievement Award and both of us, as part of the ski team, for the Team of the Year Award.  My parents and two of my grandparents came along and were able to watch me win the Outstanding Achievement Award for 2013 and our ski team win the Team of the Year Trophy too.   In all, a great evening and 2 new trophies for the cabinet! |
