2 slalom races at Passo Monte Croce started a series of 6 races in the run up to my Christmas break.  It was nice to see my old GBR children's team-mate, Alice, warming up before the race alongside former fellow Indoor and YOG adversary, Rachelle.

I didn't finish the 1st run on day 1 and managed to get into 31st position after the 1st run on day 2, so, annoyingly, just missing the top 30 flip.  Not a great 2nd run but I managed  to score 115 so I cannot really be too disappointed with that having started with bib 48 and not having made the flip.

I loved my time training and racing here in Paso Monte Croce because the lift was just outside the back door of the hotel.  My Mum and Dad came to watch the race and were even able to view from their bedroom balcony!
