The closing ceremony for the Youth Olympics was on Sunday January 22nd. The following morning my sister joined us from where she had been racing in Italy and my Dad drove us to Champery in Switzerland for the Welsh Championships. I had mixed results on the soft snow. I came out in the first run of the GS. In the Slalom, I had a fantastic first run and was heading for a great result when I came out in the second run, 3 gates from the end! I was very disappointed. In the BASS Slalom, I won the Junior title. I have enjoyed meeting up with my skiing friends, Darcie, Nia, Guilia and Natalia (to name just a few). So I am now looking forward to the British Schoolgirls races - we are travelling to Flaine today.
