| Autumn Training in Austria |

I have been looking forward to getting back onto the snow but I wasn't actually expecting there to be a fresh downfall. There is more snow here in this part of Austria than I have ever seen before this early in the season - hopefully that means the snow will be good in the Alps this year.  On the glacier with Simon and Elise After the downfall of snow it has been blue skies each day and brilliant white, corduroy snow under my skis; training has been good.  Blue skies and corduroy snow! In my second week here, it was great to bump into Alain, my coach from Sochi, who is working with the FIS Development Team this season. It was great to catch up with him and to compare notes on our plans for the coming season and even better that he complimented my skiing! |
