I ran the 5km race in 28 minutes, finishing 17th out of 2500 female racers!

The setting could not have been nicer; in the wild and lovely Sutton Park, just at the end of our road.

I think everyone running, like me, had a friend of relative who has suffered with cancer or died from it and knows what a terrible disease it is.  So we were all very motivated to do our best.
